A new era in
renewable energy
The amendment for the
changes to the Electric Market
Law was published in October.
Stating that a new era in
renewable energy is beginning,
sector representatives predict
that the production without the
1 MW limit of companies with
high consumption will assist in
the growth of the sector.
Stating that Turkey’s energy
demand will double in 10 years
as a result of the increasing
rate of wealth as a result of the
political stability of the last 10
years, the Energy and Natural
Resources Minister Taner Yıldız
said that they are working to
address this demand and ensure
energy security.
