The Union of Chambers and
Commodity Exchanges of Turkey
(TOBB), in cooperation with US-based
AllWorld Network and Turkey Economic
Research Foundation (TEPAV), is
holding the third annual “Turkey 100”
competition. 100 companies with the
highest increase in their sales revenue
between 2011 and 2013 will be selected
from among the applicants. The top
100 will be offered opportunity to form
global partnerships as well as promotion
on the international platform.
“Turkey 100” competition aims
to provide successful companies
international visibility and strengthen
their global economic connections.
Companies selected for the list will
be able to attend the annual Harvard
Entrepreneurship Summit at the
Harvard University.
AllWorld Network’s competitions
similar to “Turkey 100” worldwide brings
together all the collective winners of
these competitions. Also, the success
stories of the “Turkey 100” provide a
source of inspiration and encouragement
for the youth to be more entrepreneurial.

The Medium Term Program, with a
three year perspective, will determine
not only the course of the economy but
also society’s quality of life. The Medium
Term Program which will cover the
2015-2017 will continue the determined
fight against inflation, lower current
deficit and continue structural reforms
with renewed speed while increasing the
growth potential of Turkey.
Announcing the new Medium Term
Program, Deputy Prime Minister Ali
Babacan reported that the 2014 growth
estimate has been lowered to 3% from
4%, the inflation estimate has been
increased to 9.4% from 5.5% and the
growth estimate for 2016 has remained
at 5% while the 2017 estimate also
remains at 5%. Babacan said, “We want
to speed up structural reforms in order
to increase Turkey’s growth potential.”

Term Program, spanning 2015-2017,
will provide assistance in determining
a path for the private sector and the
markets during this time of global
