“Solutions
needed for visa
liberalization
transport quotas
and TTIP”

meeting was held at Istanbul Hilton
as part of the High Level Economic
Dialogue between the EU and Turkey.
Among the participants were Deputy Pri-
me Minister Mehmet Şimşek, Customs and
Trade Minister Bülent Tüfekci, EU Affairs
Minister Volkan Bozkır, Economy Minister
Mustafa Elitaş, EU Commissioners, business
people and representatives of NGOs from
Turkey and the EU as well as executives
of international finance institutions. M. Ri-
fat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Chairman of the Turkish
Union of Chambers and Commodity Exc-
hanges and Vice-chairman of Eurocham-
bers, called upon the EU to support the
visa liberalization process, the lifting of the
existing transport quotas and the inclusion
of Turkey in TTIP between the US and EU.
