Insurance agents set their 2023 vision
A
report prepared by Deloitte Turkey
under the title “Survey on Insurance
Agents’ Practices Across the World and
Setting a Vision for 2023” for both the Tur-
kish Union of Chambers and Commodity
Exchanges (TOBB) and Insurance Agents
Executive Committee (SAIK) was released at
a press conference. Stating that the report
will create a roadmap for both the insurance
industry and insurance agents, TOBB Chair-
man M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We expect
insurance agents to cooperate and join their
strengths. They naturally need support from
KOSGEB (Small and Medium-sized Enterp-
rises Development and Support Agency)”.
Likening the relationship between the in-
dustry and insurance agents to an essential
principle of marriage, Hisarcıklıoğlu added,
“An insurance company can not be happier
than its agent and an insurance agent can
not be happier than its principal.”
